We create projects that promote social inclusion, provide&nbsp; ecological solutions for everyday living and promote healthy solutions for all applications.&nbsp; We currently have close to 2000 members from across Canada who benefit from and&nbsp; participate in our numerous projects and support and training services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are passionate about the environment, health, and justice and want to be part of&nbsp; making change through education and creating awareness and outreach, that will touch&nbsp; millions of lives in Canada, we have a job for you! We are inviting you to join our small but&nbsp; mighty team that works towards these goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The employee will work closely with management to plan and manage communications, activities, social media, and the running of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>General Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Promote the association and its events through different social media platforms\u00a0 and manage all social media\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Managing and presenting at online events (familiar with zoom, and webinars).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write and edit documents, and prepare data for the communication of reports,\u00a0articles, and presentations in both official languages.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the drafting of submissions to journals.\u00a0 Managing podcasts.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the team and attend meetings.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create newsletter articles and finishing touches, editing articles and reports. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any other assigned activity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awareness of environmental health and multiple chemical sensitivity. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and update website content with the webmaster.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in creating diverse content formats, such as reels, podcasts, and\u00a0 interactive graphics, to deliver engaging experiences for our target audience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively engage with the online community by responding to comments,\u00a0 questions, and direct messages on social media platforms.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the web development team to assist in creating new website\u00a0 elements, such as buttons and content sections, to improve site usability and\u00a0 content accessibility.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curate and share relevant articles, videos, and other content aligned with our\u00a0 association&#8217;s goals.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelors\u2019 degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent bilingual (English and French) written and verbal communication skills\u00a0 (requirement).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outstanding organization, prioritization and time management skills. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with project management is an asset.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multi-task, track, and handle various requests at the same time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail and aptitude in long-term task planning.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of survey-creating platforms such as Google Forms, Survey Monkey,\u00a0 Microsoft forms, etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and update website content with the webmaster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and analyze survey responses.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to promote the association using social media (Facebook, Instagram,\u00a0 TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with CANVA.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing and presenting at online events (Familiar with Zoom, webinars). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing podcasts.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick learner, ability to grasp and use new software.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Newsletter articles and finishing touches, editing articles and reports.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with computers, and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,\u00a0 OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter,\u00a0 LinkedIn).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in a team.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic video editing an asset.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an eye for detail.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Employment Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>20 hours\/week, $25\/hour, Remote work.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you meet the requirements to fulfill this position, we encourage you to send your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and cover letter immediately, to ASEQ-EHAQ<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Environmental Health Association of Quebec (ASEQ-EHAQ) is looking for a bilingual,\u00a0 highly motivated person to join our team as a Communications and Social Media Assistant, for a\u00a0 contract position starting on October 16, 2023.
