{"id":6967,"date":"2022-08-05T13:17:03","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T17:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/?page_id=6967"},"modified":"2025-10-08T13:00:19","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T17:00:19","slug":"job-offers-at-aseq-ehaq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/en\/job-offers-at-aseq-ehaq\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Offers at ASEQ-EHAQ"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf3f<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Join the ECRoB Project \u2013 Building Accessible, Healthier Environments for All<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Empowering Community and Removal of Barriers (ECRoB)<\/strong>&nbsp;project is a national initiative led by the&nbsp;<strong>Environmental Health Association of Qu\u00e9bec (ASEQ-EHAQ)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECRoB works to make&nbsp;<strong>indoor air quality (IAQ) accessible<\/strong>&nbsp;by promoting&nbsp;<strong>fragrance-free, lowest-emission environments<\/strong>&nbsp;across Canada &#8211; where everyone, including people with&nbsp;<strong>Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)<\/strong>&nbsp;and other disabilities, can breathe safely and participate fully in public life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through research, training, and outreach, the ECRoB project connects communities, professionals, and policymakers to create meaningful change in the places where we live, learn, work, and heal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative combines&nbsp;<strong>environmental health, disability rights, and social equity<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; building a future where clean indoor air is recognized as a fundamental accessibility right and a cornerstone of human health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf0e<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Why ECRoB Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every day, millions of Canadians are exposed to harmful chemicals from scented and high-emission products in workplaces, schools, and public buildings. For people with MCS and related conditions, this exposure can be life-altering &#8211; leading to isolation, job loss, and barriers to essential services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECRoB tackles these issues head-on by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conducting\u00a0<strong>national research<\/strong>\u00a0on indoor air quality and accessibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training communities and professionals on\u00a0<strong>safe product use and policy implementation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting\u00a0<strong>fragrance-free and least-toxic practices<\/strong>\u00a0that improve health for all<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advancing\u00a0<strong>rights-based solutions<\/strong>\u00a0aligned with the\u00a0<em>Accessible Canada Act<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, we can create a society that values&nbsp;<strong>clean air as a human right<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; protecting both&nbsp;<strong>people and the planet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcbc<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Current Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re expanding our team for the next phase of this transformative project. Ensures deliverables, team communication, and partnerships align with national goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2\ufe0f\u20e3\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2.-Research-and-Training-Lead.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Research &amp; Training Lead<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Designs, disseminates, and analyzes national surveys; leads module development and publications; builds intersectoral partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3\ufe0f\u20e3\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/3.-Fundraising-and-Development.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fundraising &amp; Development<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Identifies funders, prepares proposals and reports, and cultivates long-term donor relationships to sustain the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4\ufe0f\u20e3\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/4.-Marketing-and-Social-Media.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing &amp; Social Media Coordinator<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Plans, creates, and manages digital content across platforms to promote ECRoB\u2019s mission and engage the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5\ufe0f\u20e3\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/5.-Administrative-Coordintor.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Administrative Coordinator<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Supports organizational systems, documentation, and communication. Ensures smooth operations and assists with scheduling, records, and correspondence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6\ufe0f\u20e3\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aseq-ehaq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/6.-National-Research-and-Outreach-Coordinator.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Research &amp; Outreach Coordinator<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Conducts outreach and research across provinces and territories to ensure national representation.
