The Environmental Health Association of Quebec (ASEQ-EHAQ) is a non-profit, charitable organisation that aims to improve the well-being of individuals experiencing Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). We create projects that promote social inclusion, provide ecological solutions for everyday living and promote healthy solutions for all applications. We currently have close to 2000 members from across Canada who benefit from and participate in our numerous projects and support and training services.

Social Media and Office Support

ASEQ-EHAQ is looking for social media and office support to expand outreach and build awareness about MCS and environmental health for a paid, part time, contract position of close to 2 years starting immediately.

Position Summary

The person will be called upon to manage social media platforms for the organization through the creation of impactful messaging by condensing complex information into concise messages.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Administrative Assistant
  • Creation, and monitoring reach of Google ads upto $10,000 per month
  • Oversee all social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin
  • Manage all promotions and advertisements
  • Review analytics to assess success and recommend improvements for future ads
  • Develop strategies to increase followership and engagement
  • Scheduling posts to leverage best time of day and day of week to increase impact
  • Manage regular posting schedule of event promotions
  • Develop miscellaneous content to increase followership
  • Host ‘Instagram’ and ‘Facebook’ events
  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team for social media content


  • Degree in relevant field
  • Portfolio of successful social media content
  • Calendar management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Strong knowledge of social media principles and practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Skills to meet deadlines

Employment Conditions

$21/hour, 17 hours per week contract till end of project (approximately 2 years). Remote work.
