The Environmental Health Association of Quebec (ASEQ-EHAQ) is a non-profit, charitable organisation that aims to improve the well-being of individuals experiencing Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). We create projects that promote social inclusion, provide ecological solutions for everyday living and promote healthy solutions for all applications. We currently have close to 2000 members from across Canada who benefit from and participate in our numerous projects and support and training services.

Project Manager: 3 – 5 years experience (required)
ASEQ-EHAQ is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead our team and build grassroots power to protect environmental health through education, awareness and outreach.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop work plans, prioritize, and coordinate work within a team
- Set and monitor targets and measures
- Develop and manage the delivery of action plans for social media, marketing, and outreach
- Manage the project team and volunteers to ensure project targets and goals are met
- Develop and implement effective program evaluation tools
- Build and communicate timelines and milestones, and manage tasks from conception to execution
- Collaborate on the creation of data collection tools to assess the efficacy of the program
- Organize, manage, and write interim reports on the success of the program
- Liaise with funder, project partners, and key stakeholders
- Create and maintain up-to-date, accessible documentation to provide visibility and facilitate knowledge sharing between staff, participants, and advisory committee
- Organize and run meetings with advisory committees, employees, and funder as needed
- Recruit and interview volunteers and employees
- Work closely with Program researcher to support the effective development and distribution of resources
- Be accountable for the project delivery and commitments (value, costs, schedules and delivery)
- Support training of employees
- Attend special events, and ensure appropriate delivery of content.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Management, Business, Marketing, or equivalent (project management certification an asset)
- Proven leadership skills
- Around 3 – 5 years of project management or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and use judgement to ensure all issues and concerns are managed properly
- Ability to quickly grasp complex problems and seek innovative resolutions
- Excellent communication skills in French and English
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills as well as conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Office Suite, Google Suite, and project management tools
- Experience in the non-profit sector (asset)
- Experience working with people with disabilities (asset)
- Knowledge of the disability of multiple chemical sensitivity (asset)
Employment Conditions
$38/hour, 35 hours a week – contract until end of project (2 years). Remote work.
