While governments around the world, at varying degrees, are finally paying attention to the call for an environment free of toxics, why, we must ask, is there this loud silence for sufferers of a medical condition that is linked to pollution in the environment.
Whether the disability is triggered by chemicals, pesticides or other incitants such as mould, the sufferer is unable to tolerate minute levels of a variety of chemicals present in many products that are used everyday by the general population.
Unfortunately, the term 'sensitivities' does not adequately describe the debilitating and disabling symptoms which can be present in more than one body system - and the helplessness and hopelessness that is carried by sufferers.
